B-School Buddy provides informational decision-support tools, AI-assisted roadmaps, and full-length computer-based mock examinations. B-School Buddy does not sell admissions, does not guarantee interview calls or final seat allocations to any business school, and does not replace official university application protocols. All admission selections are determined exclusively and independently by respective institutions.
1Acceptance of Terms & Contractual Formation
By accessing, browsing, registering for, or using the B-School Buddy platform, mobile applications, simulated examination tools, or counselling desks (“Platform”, “Services”), you (“User”, “Student”, or “Aspirant”) enter into an enforceable, legally binding agreement with B-School Buddy (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
If you do not unconditionally agree to all terms and conditions set forth herein, you must immediately cease all access and utilization of the Platform.
2Admissions Non-Guarantee & Percentile Simulation Disclaimers
2.1 Absolute Non-Guarantee of Admission Calls:
Under no circumstances does B-School Buddy, its counsellors, AI tools, or administrative representatives guarantee admission, interview shortlists, waitlist conversion, or merit scholarships to any Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Xavier School of Management (XLRI), SPJIMR, FMS Delhi, or any other private or government business school.
2.2 Algorithmic Approximations:
Admission probability calculators, percentile estimators, and college matching badges are statistical approximations generated from historical cut-off trends, academic diversity matrices, and previous years’ composite score weights. Official admissions criteria are modified dynamically and independently each academic year by respective university admission committees.
3Accuracy of Institutional & Placement Data
Institutional profiles, course fees, intake seat quotas, and placement statistics (including highest CTC, median CTC, average CTC, and top recruiters) are compiled strictly from:
- Audited Indian Placement Reporting Standards (IPRS) releases;
- Official mandatory disclosure documents submitted to NIRF, AICTE, and UGC;
- Official institution brochures and published annual placement reports.
While B-School Buddy makes every reasonable effort to keep institutional parameters updated, tuition fees, hostel tariffs, and batch sizes are subject to unilateral changes by individual institutions. Aspirants are advised to verify financial figures directly on the institution’s official portal before executing payment.
4Mandatory Consent for Educational Partner Outreach & Institutional Data Sharing
By registering on B-School Buddy, submitting your profile details, requesting roadmaps, or inquiring about partner business schools, you acknowledge and irrevocably agree to the following terms:
4.1 Direct Academic Guidance Transmission: You explicitly authorize and grant full permission to B-School Buddy to share your submitted contact details (full name, verified mobile number, email address, academic qualifications, and target exam percentiles) with relevant, accredited business schools, partner academic institutions, and verified admissions counsellors for the sole and express purpose of educational guidance, eligibility review, and admission support.
4.2 Authorized Outreach Channels: You agree that relevant educational institutions and their admissions representatives may contact you via telephone calls, SMS messages, WhatsApp communications, and electronic mail to furnish program details, scholarship availability, GD-PI interview scheduling, and application procedure assistance.
4.3 Absolute Waiver of Telemarketing & DND Claims: You affirm that providing your contact information constitutes an explicit request for educational counseling and guidance services. Accordingly, you agree to waive any right to file complaints, dispute notifications, or legal actions under the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference Regulations (TCCCPR), the National Do Not Call (NDNC) registry, Do Not Disturb (DND) directories, or data privacy statutes against B-School Buddy or any verified partner institution for communications initiated within this educational scope.
4.4 Prohibition of Retrospective Complaints: You acknowledge that you have willingly furnished your contact credentials to receive higher education guidance. You expressly agree that you shall not hold B-School Buddy liable or register grievances alleging unauthorized data transmission regarding any authorized contact from relevant higher educational institutions.
5User Authentication & Account Security
- Mobile OTP Authentication: Access to student dashboards and mock examination portals is governed strictly via verified mobile One-Time Password (OTP) verification. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your mobile device and verification codes.
- Single-User License: Each student account and 1-Year Buddy Pass subscription is strictly for individual personal use. Sharing account credentials, distributing mock test questions, or permitting concurrent access is strictly prohibited and grounds for immediate termination without refund.
- Accuracy of Records: You represent and warrant that all personal, graduation, academic, and category details provided during registration and profile building are authentic and truthful.
6Intellectual Property & Mock Examination Rights
All proprietary algorithms, computer-based mock tests, question banks, detailed step-by-step video solutions, percentile conversion curves, preparation roadmaps, UI graphics, and software code are the exclusive intellectual property of B-School Buddy and protected under Indian and international copyright and trademark laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, reverse-engineer, screenshot, distribute, or publicly display any mock test question, solution manual, or portal content without express prior written consent from B-School Buddy.
7Limitation of Liability & Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable Indian law:
- The Platform and all associated mock tests and predictor algorithms are delivered on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind.
- B-School Buddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from examination performance, failure to attain admission calls, or institutional selection decisions.
- You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless B-School Buddy, its directors, officers, employees, counsellors, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from your violation of these Terms or your interactions with third-party institutions.
8Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service and any contractual disputes arising out of or in connection with the Platform shall be governed by, construed, and interpreted in accordance with the substantive laws of India.
Any legal dispute, claim, or controversy that cannot be amicably resolved through mediation within 30 days shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent civil courts situated in New Delhi, India.
